David Axel

David, who goes by Axel on stage, has been playing drums over 30 years. He has studied jazz, Latin, rock, funk and virtually every other style drumming But prefers playing rock 'n roll. Most weekends you will find him playing with his band Midnight Mayhem, a popular local cover band.

At his home studio, A.K.A. My Drumset World Headquarters, Axel has a large collection of drums including a Voelker Rack from Nick Mensa, and kits from Tommy Lee and Tico Torres. He plays Pearl Drums, Dauz Drum Pads, Roland electronics, and Diamondback Drumsticks.
